Playtest reports from Twitch streams

Find out where streamers got stuck in your demo.

We find the Twitch streams of your Steam game, listen to what the streamers said, and turn hours of VODs into a short list of bugs, confusing moments and highlights. Every item links to the exact minute.

The alerts are free. The full report is $49, and only if three or more streams give us enough to report. Full terms

  1. What kind of moment

Bug, confusion, frustration, quit, suggestion, comparison or highlight, with a severity.

  2. How widespread

How many of the streams hit it. One stream is a lead; four is a pattern.

  3. Their exact words

Copied from the transcript and checked by code. If the words are not in the recording, the item is dropped.

  4. The minute to watch

Opens the Twitch VOD at that moment, so you can see what was on screen.

    Paste your Steam link

We match your game or demo to its Twitch category, and to stream titles in Games + Demos.

  2. 02

    We listen to the streams

Only the part where your game was on screen, in most common languages. Chat banter is skipped.

  3. 03

    You get a short report

Problems first. Every item has the streamer's own words and a link to the minute in the VOD.

Illustrations use invented example lines.

Send us your Steam page. We confirm by email, then tell you for free when streamers play your game in its Twitch category (once it has one) and before their saved VODs can expire. We analyse the saved VODs from the press preview through Oct 26. When at least three streams in which the player talks give enough concrete problems, you get your game's page and decide there whether to buy the report ($49). Not enough, no report, nothing to pay.

“An insanely helpful tool! I love that it surfaces everything you would want to know, without me having to painfully watch the streamer struggles.”

Indie game studio, October 2026 report

What it won't do

  • It does not watch the screen. It only knows what players said out loud.
  • It does not replace your own playtests. It tells you which moments to look at first.
  • It does not cover YouTube or Kick yet, and it cannot analyse streams whose VOD was not saved.

Questions

Which streams do you cover?
Public Twitch streams of your game, including demos streamed under Games + Demos when the title names your game. Streams without a saved VOD, and very quiet streamers, give us little to work with. Twitch deletes most VODs after 7 to 14 days, so ask early.
What happens when a VOD is deleted?
The item stays in your report with the streamer's words and the minute; only the link is marked as expired. Links work as long as the streamer keeps the recording; we check them daily and mark the ones that are gone.
Which languages?
Players can speak most common languages. The report is in English, with the original quote next to the translation.
What do you keep?
Audio is deleted as soon as it is transcribed. Transcripts are deleted after 30 days. The full report stays at an unlisted link that search engines do not index. Streamers can opt out at any time.
Is this AI?
Speech is transcribed on our own machine. An AI model reads the transcripts and picks out the moments; audio never leaves our machine. We only keep an item if the quoted words really appear in the recording.
Why aren't the quotes on the game pages?
They are the streamers' words, so they stay out of public, indexed pages. They are in the full report, one click behind the checkout.
