Main conditions
Games must be about climbing mountains. Valve auto-invites games whose store tags and gameplay match the theme; a mini-game or side mode is not enough. Demos, upcoming and free-to-play games can join. Our short version, not the full rules: read them on the official page before you apply.

What you get
Selected games get a place on the themed Steam sale page, which Steam typically promotes on its front page. A discount is optional. Specific placement is not guaranteed.
